Kids Holiday Activities

Here at Ladybooth we have lots of activities for kids with ‘The Dudley Club’. Dudley is Ladybooth’s very own Shetland pony and he would love you to come and join his club. There’s lots going on in Dudley’s Club during the holiday. You can Own a Pony for the day, join Dudley for one of his Fancy Dress and Themed Own a Pony days, join the Tots Fun Session, Learn to Jump, Learn how to Show or have a Riding Experience. Dudley can even help you celebrate your birthday with a Pony Party.

Own a Pony		A fun and exciting way to experience what it's like to own your own pony. Working alongside our dedicated and qualified staff, you will be responsible for the care of one of our ponies for the whole day!! From grooming to feeding, farm rides to gymkhana games - this will be a really fun day for you and your pony pals.
Themed Own a Pony Day		We offer a variety of themed Own a Pony Days during the school holidays where you can experience what it´s like to Own a Pony for the Day, dress yourself and your pony up and play themed games on and off your pony too! This day is guaranteed to be lots of fun.
Tots Fun Sessions		Tots Fun is especially designed for our younger riders (a program to suit the under 8’s) and is is guaranteed to be lots of fun!! The Tots Fun Session last for 3 hours.
Riding Experience Session		The Riding Experience Session can be aimed at ‘Beginners and Novice’ and ‘ Experienced’ riders (please check the Special Events page to see which course is being run over the holiday period). The Experience can include a variety of tasks such as grooming and tacking up, learning to plait or how to prepare your pony for a show, riding lessons and theory, a mini trek on our farm ride, flatwork and jumping lessons. This is a really great way to get to know your horse / pony and improve your riding too. These sessions last for about 3 hours. Please note – this Riding Experience Session is in addition to the Riding Experiences we offer throughout the year and is arranged especially for the School Holiday period.
Specialist Sessions		We offer a variety of Specialist Sessions at Ladybooth during the school holidays. These sessions are varied and can cover topics such as ‘Learn to Jump’, ‘Learn to Show’ and ‘Dressage’ and offer a good mix of practical riding and theory. These sessions cater for those who do no have much riding experience to those who have ridden for years.
